Using Honey of the Yamada Bee Farm
Appetizer of Pork Stewed in Honey



Ingredients <4 servings>
800 g pork fillet (chunk)
(A)
* 5 tablespoons honey
* 2/3 cup soy sauce
* 1/3 cup Shaoxing rice wine or sake
1/2 bunch green asparagus
1/2 pack bean sprouts
5 cm white leek

Green leaf, as needed
1 tomato
(B)
* 100 g Haccho miso
* 5 tablespoons honey
* 3 tablespoons sake
* 2 teaspoons sesame oil
Salad oil, as needed

In a frying pan with heated oil, fry the outer surface of the pork to a golden brown and then set it aside in a pan.

Pour 4 cups of water into the pan containing 1 and heat it.
Skim off any froth and cook for 10 minutes. Add (A), cook for 20 minutes,
and turn off the heat.

Cut the hard stems off the green asparagus,
cut the remaining stalks 4 cm long, and boil.

Put the sprout portions into the pan, add a little water,
cover the pan and heat the bean sprouts until they become soft.
