Picture01 Dee the Honey Bee is one of 12 children. He has six older sisters and five older brothers. Since his mother is an English teacher, she gave each of her children an English name, one for each of the months from January to December. That way, their names would be easy to remember.

Dee's brothers and sisters are very good at everything they do--studying, sports, and playing. They are all wonderful. Dee, the youngest, admires them all very much and is very proud of them.

Compared to his brothers and sisters, though, Dee is clumsy at everything. Usually, they are very kind to him, but sometimes he bungles things so badly that their soft humming becomes an angry buzzing.

However, all the brothers and sisters work together very hard for their home business, a pancake shop.

Picture03 Dee fails at everything he does, one thing after another. Without even realizing it, one day he happens to see his brothers and sisters dancing and moving around. Dee enjoys this very much. His brothers and sisters look so cool that he calls out to them, "That's great, Feb! You look fine, May! Keep it up, June!"

It's amazing, but when Dee shouts encouragement to his brothers and sisters, they all become very lively.

In the midst of all this liveliness, their pancake shop is so popular that everyone in the forest forms a long line in front of the shop. The Honey Bee family is happiness itself!
