Picture09 "You're right, there haven't been any customers lately!"

All of Dee's brothers and sisters became very sad when they understood their situation. Until now, everything in their lives had gone well, so this bad news was too much for them to bear.

Without thinking, Dee spoke in a very loud voice, "Brothers and sisters! You're so wonderful! Let's think of how we can become popular again!" His brothers and sisters looked like they didn't care, but everyone thought they should do something after Dee spoke. In spite of these feelings, though, everyone became very very quiet.

Everyone is quiet for so long that Dee tries to make everyone laugh by saying, "Is a doughnut-shaped pancake really a doughnut?"

Picture11 "That's it!" shouted Aug, the fifth brother. If we connect the doughnut-shaped pancakes in a chain, it would make Mr. Hungry Bear and Mr. Spider in his sticky net very happy. The pancakes already are the best in the world, he explained, so their problems will be solved.

"Dee, you're so wonderful," exclaimed Aug, as all his brothers and sisters nodded in agreement.

The lively Honey Bee family worked great as a team. Once they made up their minds, they began right away to make doughnut-shaped pancakes.

They took some to Mr. Hungry Alligator too.

(Mr. Hungry Bear would certainly be very happy, and Mr. Spider in his sticky net would also like them very much.)
