"To Sacrifice Quality Is to Lack Respect for Customers".
The Same Rule Applies to Apiterapia
and Our Company, although Separated Halfway
Around the World, as Organizations That Try to Contribute
to the Health of People.

Apiterapia has a large-scale factory called the "Apiculture Complex". The aforementioned research department is responsible for developing medicine from bee products. However, it is here that such medicines are manufactured. The factory itself is divided into three departments according to the products they manufacture: medicines, cosmetics, and honey. The facility is so immense in scale that it is capable of processing 120,000 tons of honey per year. Their adherence to quality is so strong, that they apply to all of their products the strictest European quality standards, even surpassing those of Germany. "To sacrifice quality for any reason is nothing but to lack respect for customers who use our products." These words, though humbly spoken, show their pride as a giant nation in apiculture. The results of studies by this research department are used as clinical references by the doctors at hospitals when they decide on treatments to give their patients. The royal jelly and propolis products developed at this factory are used in these hospitals, sold at pharmacies to the general public, and also used for treatments in aesthetic salons.

Honey, Pollen, Royal Jelly, ...
For Romania, Bee Products Hold Importance as Articles
for Export as well as Necessities for Life.

In the "Honey Production Department" of the Apiculture Complex, honey collected from all parts of Romania is processed and manufactured into various products. The extensive process involves the filtering, mixing, melting, and bottling of honey. Most of these honey products are to be exported to Germany and other European nations, and they all undergo strict quality tests, such as measuring of the amount of pollen mixed in the honey (the pollen ratio), which is specified for each product. Pollen production is also done in a wholesale effort. "Actually, Romania, as a country, is a big producer of pollen." "It's obvious because we have such an abundance and variety of flowers all over the country." said Ms. Mateescu, who knew the Japanese word for pollen, kafun, one of the few words she learned while visiting Japan several years ago. The factory has a "Cosmetics Production Department" as well. The products from this department, also based on royal jelly and propolis, take such diversified forms as cream, hand cream, oral disinfectant, depilatory, sunscreen, shampoo, and so forth. They are used for beauty care in the salon of the aesthetic department of Apiterapia (the National Medical Center of Apitherapy).

At Apiterapia, Therapeutic Treatments Based on Royal Jelly and Propolis Are Given According to the Symptoms of the Patients.

We were then shown to the Medical Center (the Medical Department) of Apiterapia. There we found that therapeutic treatments, using bee products, especially propolis, are given in surprisingly many fields of medicine, which include internal medicines (such as for circulatory and digestive organs), surgery, orthopedic surgery, and more. Someone mentioned: "This kind of facility never comes into being on a whim, not without background. Diverse therapeutic methods have been established through the research of many years, and with accumulated clinical data. This place was built as the first of its kind to provide a facility for practicing those methods."
